Daily Cupcake Recipe

All recipes here are for cupcakes only! You will not find any recipes for pies, large cakes, muffins, et cetera on this website.

We hope to post one new recipe each day. Should we forget to post a recipe one day, the next day we will post two. No more than one recipe will be posted per day unless under these circumstances - this is to eliminate the flooding of the Dashboards of our Tumblr followers.

Of course, you may feel free to contribute recipes at any time! All that we ask is that you attempt to use correct spelling and grammar. Some tips to make your recipes more effective (if you are posting your own recipe - if you found a recipe online that you are sharing with us, we don’t expect you to do any of this):

• If you can, try posting alternative measurements. A conversion table can be found here should you need assistance.


• If you have made this recipe yourself and have any photos of the process or cupcakes, please include them. I know that I prefer recipes with photographs over those without, and I’m sure that others do as well!


• Is there a specific frosting that goes best with your cupcake recipe? Tell us! If you have a recipe for the frosting or glaze, include that as well; if you don’t, that’s fine too!


• If you ARE posting a recipe that you found on the internet, please include the link that you got the recipe from! The same goes for any books that you may have used. Make sure to give credit where credit is due!

As this first post includes the basic guidelines of posting, and as things are always subject to changes, additions, and updates, we hope to soon keep this page linked to the header/footer area(s), and/or to create a separate post for the guidelines.

Recipe submissions may be sent via Tumblr at http://dailycupcakerecipe.tumblr.com/submit, or may be emailed to dailycupcakerecipe@tumblr.com. If you don’t see your recipe after a few days, don’t worry! It just means that we have other submissions that were received before yours, and will get to your recipe soon!
